Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Choi Choong Joo visited Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on 16 July 2012. He said his country would eager to enhance trade relations with Pakistan and Korea is keen to invest in Pakistan.
Pakistani mangoes are delicious in taste and his country has decided to import mangoes from Pakistan, this step will also help to boost the bilateral trade between the two friend countries, he added.
Talking to President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Jawed Akhtar Bhatti, he further stated that Korea was fully aware of the problems faced by the Pakistan regarding energy, law and order and promotion of business activities. While, Mr. Jawed Akhtar Bhatti said total trade volume between the two countries was around $1.3 billion, which needs to be extended.
